What are exosomes?
There are many challenges to healing injuries as we age. Our body repair processes decrease significantly the older we get. Natural regenerative techniques, including stem cell therapy, exosomes, and platelet-rich plasma, are now available to promote the healing of joints, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage without resorting to surgery.
Exosomes are tiny vesicles that stem cells naturally produce and release that can help repair and regenerate tissue. They contain proteins, nucleic acids, and other molecules that can stimulate tissue regeneration and immune response.
What are exosomes used for?
Research has shown that exosomes can be beneficial to help a variety of conditions such as:
- Orthopedic injuries
- Autoimmune diseases
- Sexual dysfunction
- Skin disorders
What are the side effects?
Exosomes can be administered in a minimally invasive manner, such as by injection, intravenous infusion, or topical application. Exosome therapy is generally safe and well tolerated with minimal to no side effects.
