What is the O-Shot®?
The O-Shot®, also known as the Orgasm Shot, is a minimally invasive vaginal rejuvenating treatment for women. The O-Shot is a non-surgical procedure that involves injecting platelet rich plasma (PRP) into the clitoris and vaginal area to improve sexual health. The PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood and contains growth factors that stimulate cell regeneration and healing in vaginal tissues. This can lead to increased blood flow, collagen production, and tissue regeneration, which can improve sensitivity, arousal, and sexual responsiveness.
What conditions can the O-Shot® treat?
The O-Shot® is effective for treating:
- Urinary incontinence
- Vaginal dryness and irritation
- Painful intercourse
- Decreased clitoral sensation
- Difficulty reaching orgasm
- Decreased libido
The O-Shot® can also provide:
- Relief from painful intercourse
- Increased clitoral sensitivity and arousal
- Improved skin texture of the vulva (vaginal lips)
- A tighter vaginal opening for more pleasurable intercourse
- Increased arousal from G-spot stimulation
- More intense and more frequent orgasms
- Increased vaginal lubrication
How is the O-Shot® procedure performed?
The procedure begins with a blood draw from the patient’s arm. After the blood is drawn, the sample is placed into a machine (a centrifuge) that spins the blood to separate the platelets and plasma from the other components of the blood, which produces the platelet rich plasma (PRP). Once the PRP is extracted from the blood, it is then injected into the area just above your clitoris, and a second injection is delivered inside the upper vaginal area. A local anesthetic is used to numb the targeted treatment areas so that you don’t feel any pain or discomfort from the injections.
When will I notice results?
Most women report significant, even dramatic improvements within three weeks, but full tissue regrowth can take up to three months. Results typically last 12–18 months and, if recommended by a doctor, some patients may need to schedule treatments every 12–18 months to maintain results.
