Dr. Barbara did her undergraduate work at New York University and received her Masters Degree from Columbia University in New York and her Ph.D. from the School of Theology at Claremont, California and is a licensed Individual, Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been in private practice since 1986, and brings to her profession a deep respect for traditional values.
One of Barbara's main interests has
been the intersection of psychology and religion and she has published articles
on this topic. Of particular interest to her over the last twenty years has been her research and observation of how adults mature in their development of faith.
Barbara teaches classes that support development. Among her favorite programs is her Conscious Marriage: Creating Joy and Fulfillment workshop, a popular 8 hour course she teaches with Michael, that shows couples new concepts and skills that enable them to shift their relationship patterns from power struggle into partnership.
Barbara is listed in Who's Who in American Women, from 1999-2003
and Who's Who in America in 2010.
Dr. Michael and Barbara are the proud parents of two daughters and sons-in-law. They currently have four grandchildren with the fifth one on the way!
